Next level rider protection

In an age where pushing limits is the norm, rider protection has never been so important. X-Halo has always raised the bar in rider protection, starting off as enhanced safety in M2R helmets. The X-Halo Impact Shield is an additional layer of defence against impact, providing riders with a strengthened, reinforced layer within their helmet. On impact, the molecules lock, transforming the regularly soft, rubber-like material to a hard form, allowing it to successfully absorb and dissipate and impacts energy. This provides up to 12% improvement in the critical halo area.

As the MX helmet technology continues to evolve, there was a natural progression to produce shoulder, elbow, knee and back protection for road riders. The X-Halo range offers a performance upgrade to CE Level 2 armour; this allows riders to purchase gear without protection, with CE Level 1 armour or foam back protection to upgrade to the higher spec, which meets CE Level 2 specifications - EN 1621-2:2014 (back) and EN 1621-1:2012 (elbow/knee/shoulder).

In 2026, X-Halo launched their first MX boot, the MX3, offering superior comfort and protection for entry level riders. The four buckle boot is an excellent option for those new to off-road riding, with the boot featuring full CE Certification to exceed EN 13634:2017.

X-Halo protection can be found in selected M2R MX helmets, Dririder jackets and pants, and Argon jackets and pants.
